Caution
- Mixing dirt or foreign objects into mechanical seal or machine chamber causes early leakage of fluid. Especially, surface (standard: SiC) is delicate.

In the video, oil is used to make it smoother to mount.
With some type of seal, oil cannot be used. In that case, other liquid is used, (ex; Ethylene glycol) so be sure to confirm the specification. -
in the video, vinyl chloride pipe is used to make it smoother to mount, but it is not necessary.
The example in the video is for Standard type of mechanical seal of 2SM pump. (SiC×SiC×NBR) - Be sure to mount in accordance with the pump’s specification. Pumps have variety of the bore or material. (ex; EPDM→use ethylene glycol instead of oil / in case of attachment of cushion ling with high pressure mechanical seal, measurement is essential.)

Preparation
- Be sure to clean up casing cover and bearing case.
- attach NO.15 O-ring before see the video.
